Marvel have just dropped their latest cover for the second issue of the America series. Illustrated by Joe Quinones, this cover is said to have been inspired by Beyoncé’s ‘Formation’ video. The cover showcases the pop star’s hat and jewelry, but replaces her attire with some stars and stripes to match the series. Marvel continues to take inspiration from hip hop culture, having issued album artwork inspired by those of Kanye West, Vic Mensa and many more. Seems like the trend wont stop anytime soon (in a good way).
