The beat is back, and the stage is set for the return of Red Bull Mzansi Crew Battle, a vibrant celebration of South Africa’s diverse street dance culture. From Amapiano and Pantsula to Sbujwa, the country’s most talented dance crews will bring rhythm, creativity, and pure Mzansi energy to the stage as they battle for the title of Red Bull Mzansi Crew Battle Champions 2025.
Following a high-energy debut in 2024, this year’s edition is back bigger, bolder, and more accessible than ever, featuring three regional qualifiers and a national final that will unite dancers, legends, and fans in the heart of South Africa’s thriving dance scene.
Crews will compete across Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Durban, with online entries open to ensure nationwide access for dancers from every corner of Mzansi.

The National Final will take place on 7 December 2025 at Constitution Hill, where South Africa’s top crews will face off for ultimate bragging rights and the title of Red Bull Mzansi Crew Battle Champions.
The dance crews kick off with choreographed routines judged by the crowd’s cheers, before battling it out freestyle to local hits in front of the judges. The final twist? In the 50/50 Round, losing a round means losing half your crew, and only the loudest crowd reactions will decide who’s crowned the Red Bull Mzansi Crew Battle Champion 2025!
This year’s competition brings rhythm, flair, and fire to the Red Bull Mzansi Crew Battle stage with an all-star judging panel featuring some of the best in the game! The powerhouse lineup includes:
- Hope Ramafalo, a global dance icon inspiring the next generation with bold moves and electrifying energy
- Sithembiso Makhanya, a Pantsula legend redefining township dance through creativity and culture
- Sipho Didiza, the mastermind choreographer behind Honey 3, Step Up or Step Out, and countless international stages
- Nhlanhla Chiliza, a youth activist and creative leader empowering communities through dance; and
- Tlhogi Molefe, an award-winning Amapiano choreographer fusing rhythm, culture, and innovation straight from Soweto
Holding it down on the mic is Sne Mbatha, the dynamic host and dancer whose stage presence is pure power, alongside the DubeTwiinz, South Africa’s viral DJ and dance duo known for bringing unmatched energy, creativity, and global flair to every battle.
After a series of electrifying regional qualifiers, the top crews from across Mzansi will go head-to-head at the Red Bull Mzansi Crew Battle Final, taking place on Sunday, 7 December at Constitution Hill, Johannesburg.
