Reebok, the iconic sports culture brand, and visionary artist Tobe Nwigwe proudly unveil the next chapter of their partnership with Reebok x Chukwu ABUO. The sophomore drop introduces a bold new silhouette—the Chukwu ABUO (pronounced ah-BOO-aw)—a reimagined BB 4000 II crafted for both adults and children, alongside a refined apparel capsule.
Following the success of the inaugural Preseason OTU release earlier in 2025, this new collection expands the Reebok x Chukwu narrative. While OTU celebrated legacy and roots, ABUO places family at its core—honouring generations past and present, while highlighting the strength and purpose drawn from these connections. Reflecting this theme, the footwear is also available in Junior, Children’s, and Infant sizing, emphasising continuity across generations.
Meaning “two” in the Nigerian Igbo language, ABUO marks the next evolution in Nwigwe’s creative journey. Built on the Reebok BB 4000 II, the sneaker features a mixed-material upper of hairy suede, nubuck leather, and textile, with curved overlays for depth and motion. Additional details include a lace toggle closure, custom-moulded heel logo, gum outsole, co-branded sock liner, and two colourways: signature Mint and Chalk.
