Money Badoo’s debut album ‘PORN$TAR’, featuring guest appearances from Maglera Doe Boy, Lordkez, Ricky Tyler and Yanga Chief, will unleash your inner baddie.
Money Badoo has finally released her debut album titled PORN$TAR. The album opens with an intro by Money’s homie Maglera Doe Boy. Lordkez makes an appearance on “g2g”, a song about letting go. Money connects with Ricky Tyler on the album’s lead single “47K$”, which was released in December last year, a month after Money Badoo became a HYPE cover star.
Don’t let the title mislead you, though, PORN$TAR isn’t just about sex as, in most of the songs, Money Badoo and her collaborators — including Yanga Chief and Sliqe in addition to the aforementioned — address existential life issues such as heartbreak, hustling (“100 DAYS”) and believing in oneself (“Gone Girl”) over music she created with a list of producers including NotBenjamin, Mars Baby, Kimish and Sliqe among a few others.
PORN$TAR is a fun listen that will ensure that you know the rapper and singer better when the album finishes. At 10 tracks long, PORN$TAR is punchy and comes with no wasted moments, and is free of tautology as can be the case with some albums (no names mentioned). Listen with caution, though, this album has the ability to unleash your inner baddie.
