Blxckie recently dropped off his new music video for his beloved ‘David’ song as he promised he would… And just like we previously said, this song is one of the reasons many converted to being Blxckie stans which should reveal how special it is. The song stems from his debut B4Now debut album and the visuals (directed by Shala The Unicorn) carry some heavy symbolic and religious tones which should come as no surprise when you consider the song’s title and some of the lyrics by spewed by somnyama. The video really kicks in when you see open outdoor shots of a goat being transported in the back of bakkie. Its then revealed that the goat we’re seeing is actually Blxckie who is then greeted by a group of (formally well-dressed boys) before being escorted into a church. Within the church Blxckie continues performing the song as he explores the holy establishments interior via different camera shots… It all ends with a nighttime outdoor performance. Yeah the visuals are fire and do well to heighten the songs narrative.
