When Drake arrived in SA (almost) undetected, many speculated that he was here to shoot a new music video, which is probably be true. However Drizzy also took the time to take a tour with the Minister in the Presidency Jeff Radebe and the Mandela family members. The hosts guided Drake through the office that the late Mandela used before leading him up to the auditorium where he gave a short speech to his over ecstatic fans.
“I encourage you to do everything that you can to make the future here as bright as you possibly can. We’re all young. We all have some end goal or some dream.” Drake
It’s been said that Drake actually requested the tour, as he wanted to learn more about Nelson Mandela and his legacy. He had also hoped to have a young discussion with the youth but both time and the overwhelming crowd made this difficult to do.
And with regards to the video, it’s said that the 6 god has been shooting a music video in Soweto for most of the past weekend and is scheduled to leave Tuesday afternoon.
