VICE’s music channel Noisey has surfaced a new documentary clip that highlights the new generation of hip hop that has emerged in South Africa, the generation that is taking it back to the roots and celebrating the many cultures that surrounded them growing up in the townships. The generation that is reshaping the sense of identity of South Africa’s youth and expressing what it means to be born free.
