K.O is set to headline the ‘Sounds from Africa stage’ on Friday,19 March 2016 at the South by Southwest Festival, which takes place on a annual basis, in Texas. For all those who don’t know,SXSW is an 11 day film & interactive media conference as well as one of the largest music festivals of its kind. Taking place in March at Austin, Texas, USA. Previous acts such as, Cypress Hill, Erykah Badu, Foo Fighters, Ice, Cube, J. Cole, Metallica, Patti Smith, Snoop Dog, Smokey Robinson & Willie Nelson just to name a few, have jumped on the stages of this popular festival. Other local acts such as BLK JKS, Petite Noir, Spoek Mathambo, and Jeremy Loops have also graced the stage at the esteemed festival.
This year the festival celebrates 29 yearsl K.O will join the elite group of artists who have played at SXSW, making it another milestone for the Skhanda god.
