Who’s ready for a new Nas album?
Well, don’t matter because whether you are or you’re not, according to Mr. Jones, expect a new album very soon.
Caught on multiple camera phones belonging to fans who were present at a performance at an Orlando night club just over a week ago, Esco said the following:
““I drank Henny with Pac, smoked with Biggie, traded chains with Big L. I’m a 90s nigga. I got friends who are locked up. Death to all snitches, my album is dropping this summer.”
The USA “summer” is of course our winter if he is true to his word, by August latest, you might be bumping that new heat.
Nas’s critically acclaimed last album Life Is Good marked his resurgence into the spotlight (for positive reasons) and last year he celebrated the twentieth anniversary of his debut classic Illmatic with a successful world tour, also hitting Johannesburg at Castle Lite’s Extra Cold Music festival.
Let’s hope the good spirits keep flowing on the next joint.
