As you will remember if you copped last year’s April/May issue of HYPE (Reason was on the cover), former AKA manager and Showlove Music businessman, Tibz, and T from V’s Motif Records, paired up to create a 100% local collaborative rap compilation which featured as the Hype Sessions tape for that issue. Tibz has now re-released the album a deluxe version of the album available for purchase on iTunes.
The album has already produced a couple of successful singles, including the 2013 smash ‘No Sleep’ (ft. Reason) and Good Times Back (ft. Pro & Maggz). It also features HHP, Cassper Nyovest, ProVerb, Tumi Molekane, Blaklez, Youngsta and Kwesta; as well as a little sum’ sum’ extra this time around so make sure you get on it.
Tibz has been a very busy man of late. Between being a part owner of Sandton Club ‘Sway’; his company, Showlove, recently acquiring the contract for 50cent’s ‘SMS Audio’ headphones line; signing on new music talents Chad Saaimen, Anatii, Ganja Beatz and Chad Da Don; and taking extreme selfies ( http://instagram.com/p/n7rq7dqZHx/ ), homie has still got time to release an album.
