Rappers react to Paul Walker’s death

On Saturday, the world was shocked to learn that Fast & Furious star Paul Walker had passed away. Walker, who was known for his role as Brian O’Connor in the hugely successful franchise, died in a car crash in Clarita, California, shortly after attending a charity event for his Reach Out Worldwide organisation.

Actors, musicians and other celebrities took to social networks to react to the actor’s sudden death and convey their condolences to his family.

Among those who sent their condolences was rapper T.I. who said: “I am shocked & saddened to find that the world has lost such a great spirited person. Paul was not only a passionate, talented, actor, he was also a sincere man with a genuine personality that filled a room immediately upon introduction. My family’s hearts & prayers are extended to his family, especially his daughter. May he rest in peace. Through all his many actions & efforts his legacy lives on. He will never be forgotten”.

The Troubleman worked with Walker in 2010 when they starred in Takers, alongside Chris Brown.

Ludacris, who has starred in Fast & Furious movies with Walker, reacted by posting a photo on Instagram, with the following caption: “Your humble spirit was felt from the start, wherever you blessed your presence you always left a mark, we were like brothers & our birthdays are only 1 day apart, now You will forever hold a place in all of our hearts @paulwalker legacy will live on forever. R.I.P”.

Tyrese, who also worked with Walker on the popular fast-car actions movies, tweeted about the actor’s death. “My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real Father God I pray that you send clarity over this cause I just don’t understand My heart hurts it’s broken no one can convince me that this is real…. Prayer warriors please pray real hard for his only child, his daughter and family…”

West Coast rapper, Game also sent his condolences: “Sad news about a dear friend. @PaulWalker, one of the best actors & for damn sure a great friend to me & I’m sure everyone else died today in a fiery car crash. This saddens me & is a definite reminder of how short life is……. A TRUE FRIEND was lost today & will be missed. Rest In Peace Paul………….”

Walker was working on Fast & Furious 7 at the time of his death. He died at the age of 40.
