Kendrick’s verse on ‘Control’ has industry shook!

On Monday Big Sean released a track called ‘Control’ which features Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica. The song was supposed to feature on Sean’s upcoming album Hall of Fame but word is that it didn’t make the cut due to sample clearance issues. Now before we give you our opinion, we’ll let you take a peek at Kendrick’s verse on this joint:

“But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is/ And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big CRIT, Wale, Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electron’, Tyler, Mac Miller/ I got love for you all but I’m tryna murder you niggas/ Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas/ They don’t wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas”

Composed yourself?

It’s safe to say that after this dropped there has been a complete twitter quake, with not much mention about Big Sean or Jay’s verse. KDot did not hold his tongue, not one bit. He does show respect to the likes of Jay-Z, Nas and Andree 3000 but he took no prisoners when it came to the younger generation of rappers. Check out what some people had to say about this game changing verse:

Pusha T: “I hear u loud and clear my nigga @ Kendrick lamar”

Diddy: “KENDRICK!!!! Ohhhh Shiiittttt”

LeBron James: “This is real hip hop at its best! @kendricklamar boxed em into a corner. We going crazy over here people!”
