There’s nothing but love between ex-radio moderator DJ Fresh and his wife Thabiso, who have been separated for beyond two years.
Former radio moderator DJ Fresh and his wife Thabiso Skiwane have confirmed that they are indeed getting divorced.
The now former couple shared the news in a clip shared by DJ Fresh on his Twitter page. In the clip, the Sikwanes are all smiles with each other. Insight about their divorce was first announced by Sunday World, which said Thabiso had settled on the decision to head out in different directions from her husband of 20 years, in the wake of consulting with her family.
The publication announced that the DJ has consented to move out of their home in Northriding, Johannesburg and likewise give full custody of their children to Thabiso.
DJ FRESH AND WIFE SPEAK ON DIVORCE
Now, DJ Fresh and Thabiso say their main priority is focusing on raising their three children together.
“We’ve been separated for most, if not all of lockdown and we are just finalizing the finer details right now. We still love each other. I think people are still expecting fireworks and demands. But there will never be drama between the two of us because we will forever love each other,” DJ Fresh said.
In a similar video, Thabiso says the individuals who were hoping for drama to transpire between the couple, because of the divorce, are in for a significant disappointment. DJ Fresh and Euphonik were both fired as hosts on 947 after a lady accused them of raping her.
Sunday World had cited a “friend” who claimed the first difficult situation for the Sikwanes was the point at which they began sleeping in independent bedrooms.
“They are still living under a similar roof and there was trust they would get their sparkles back. But when she let him know that she has talked with her legal counselors to file for divorce, Thato consented to move out of their house in Northriding once the divorce is finalized,” the “friend” apparently said.
