Hype Fam, the Atlanta Dream have answered back! Led by a dominant Angel Reese, Atlanta defeated the Golden State Valkyries 79-65 in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals, silencing Ballhalla and tying the series at 1-1
Reese put on a show, recording 30 points and 16 rebounds, leading the Dream on both ends of the floor. Jordin Canada also stepped up with 13 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds as Atlanta found its rhythm when it mattered most
The turning point came in the third quarter, when Atlanta outscored Golden State 21-9 before stretching the lead with an 11-0 run in the fourth. The Valkyries struggled to find their shooting touch and committed costly turnovers as the Dream took control.
After dropping Game 1 by just four points, Atlanta has protected its championship hopes and shifted the momentum. With the series tied, the Finals now head to Atlanta for Game 3.
