I woke up to yet another A-Reece feature, this time on Yung Tyran’s latest EP, “ACTIVITY” is the name of the joint. Just 24 hours earlier, he appeared on Your Old Droog’s “Pavlovian Effect” alongside hip-hop legend Masta Ace and DJ Harrison—a collaboration that shows just how respected his artistry has become beyond South Africa.
And this isn’t a one-off. In recent months, he’s also delivered standout verses on BABYLOWK1’s “BOJACK” and Nyota Parker and Jay Jody’s “Confused Admiration.” Go back even further and you’ll find memorable appearances on projects by K.Keed and LaCabra.
The common thread? Reece doesn’t feature for the sake of it. He collaborates where the vision aligns, and every verse feels intentional. His co-sign isn’t loud—it’s earned through the music.
More established artists could learn from this approach. You don’t always have to publicly endorse a rising artist. Sometimes, the biggest co-sign is simply sharing a record with them. A feature introduces your audience to new talent, creates opportunities and keeps the culture moving forward.
