Earldridge is such a talented artist, and I’m happy to see that he is still evolving. His latest single is titled ‘All my life’ and ofcourse, it is a beautiful song. Earldridge’s vocals just feel really soulful. The production of the single is slow and equally as soulful as Earldridge’s performance atop it. When the production of a song is as downtempo as this, it’s easy for the artist to be swallowed by the production and the song falls flat. Earldridge’s performance has peaks and valleys, which keep us glued to the song. From a subject matter point of view, the song sees Earldridge touch on how he has been seeking out a particular love interest for all his life. The amount of passion that is delivered in the song is what makes it memorable to the listener. The feeling of love is not lost on the listener because again, this song is wonderfully composed.
