Award-winning South African artist Nomisupasta makes a powerful return with her new single “Njalo Njalo”, produced by the legendary Madlib and featuring Grammy-winning rapper Rapsody. The track premieres on 21 November 2025 on Kaya 959’s My Top 10 at 10, alongside an exclusive unplugged session.
“Njalo Njalo” is the second single from Nomisupasta’s upcoming album Surrender, due early 2026. Blending soul, hip-hop, and spirituality, it continues her journey as one of Africa’s most fearless voices.
Nomisupasta and Rapsody’s connection runs deep, Rapsody’s debut The Idea of Beautiful featured a sample from Nomisupasta’s SAMA-winning EP. Reuniting years later, they recorded in South Africa with producer Mr. Porter, bassist Teeba Forbes, and engineer Victor Gaspar, turning what began as Rapsody’s session into Nomisupasta’s spiritual rebirth.
“I thought I was recording for her album, but God had other plans. That moment of surrender birthed Njalo Njalo, a reminder to trust the process,” Nomisupasta says.
Under Madlib’s textured production, Njalo Njalo merges timeless rhythm and soulful reflection, marking Nomisupasta’s full-circle return, a story of faith, artistry, and alignment. Following her single Next Week Tuesday, this release sets the stage for Surrender, an album that promises to heal, uplift, and inspire.
