Since dropping in 2018, Stylin’ Dredz Creative Conquerors has been all about celebrating the fearless, the ones who move differently, think creatively, and redefine what it means to express yourself. From the jump, the campaign has been an ode to boundary-pushers and culture shifters who live loud and unapologetic.
What started as a spotlight on handpicked innovators has grown into a full-blown creative movement. Staying true to its DNA, Stylin’ Dredz continues to back artists who embody freedom, individuality, and self-expression. Over the years, they’ve linked up with icons like Big Zulu, Karabo Poppy, David Tshabalala, and Focalistic, all creatives who mirror the brand’s fearless energy.
But beyond the big names, the heart of Creative Conquerors beats for the up-and-comers, the dreamers and doers grinding their way into the game. In a country where young people are constantly fighting for space and opportunity, Stylin’ Dredz keeps creating platforms that actually matter.
In 2022, they took things up a notch with the Stylin’ Dredz Mobile Studio, first unveiled at the iconic Back To The City Festival. The studio gave emerging poets, MCs, and vocalists a chance to record, perform, and flex their talent in a pro setup, for free. Participants were challenged to spit their best bars or vocals over one of four exclusive beats produced by Big Dreamz, and the stakes were high: a shot at taking their career to the next level.
Fast forward to 2025, after hundreds of fire submissions, one name stood out: Nicole Pilusa, better known as NicoleLUV. Her voice, storytelling, and stage energy had both the judges and the crowd locked in. As this year’s Creative Conqueror, she walks away with R50 000 towards her music career and will make her debut performance at Back To The City 2025, a major milestone for one of Mzansi’s most promising new voices.
