There are not too many introspective and honest artists in the music in the game and ZuluMecca has always held an unwavering honesty in her music that is refreshing. Although her music has always carried a darker hue to it, her current release takes a bit of a different turn… which is welcomed. The single “Seams” carries hues of soul as well as slight traces of instrumental elements of Jazz. The single sees her alluding to her declining mental state when she talks about falling apart at the seams. We cannot wait to hear what else ZuluMecca has up her sleeves with an EP rumoured to be on the way.
