The brand has added new elevated styles to the De Luxe collection and is collaborating with female designers and creatives to roll out a series of heat collabs. This summer, Converse is taking style, fit, form, and function to the next level with the introduction of two new elevated styles that go beyond the expectations of Chuck.
The Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel, which was recently introduced, is a fan favorite, and now it is joined by the Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge, which offers up to four inches of elevation, and the Chuck 70 De Luxe Squared. Both styles transform the brand’s iconic rounded rubber toe cap into one with angular, squared proportions for an entirely new dimension and expression. These styles also feature stitch detailing, octagonal Converse patches, and classic colorways, which are synonymous with the brand.
To launch the new ‘Edge of Style’ campaign, Converse is becoming the catalyst for discovery, allowing people to explore what it means to push beyond style limits. The new De Luxe collection will launch alongside a series of global high heat collabs with female creative collaborators including Martine Ali, Feng Chen Wang, and Isabel Marant. Each collaborator is known for charting new paths and redefining the status quo. Converse has offered the iconic Chuck Taylor silhouette as inspiration and a catalyst for creativity to define the future of fashion.
Swarovski crystals, known for their innovation and creativity, have been inspiring mesmerizing designs for over 125 years. They are no stranger to the world of fashion, and much like Converse, Swarovski has been adopted, beloved, and embedded in some of the culture’s most iconic moments. Featuring over 1,300 individual Swarovski crystals encrusted on each pair, the De Luxe Squared allows the silhouette’s upper to shine and juxtaposes the notable upper with an assortment of multi-sized crystals.
The Chuck 70 De Luxe Squared and the Converse De Luxe Squared with Swarovski crystals complete the De Luxe silhouettes and will debut globally on February 1, 2024.
