Rocking the Daisies Make Up for Postponed Festival Blow Out

Ranked #34 on Billboard’s 50 Best Festivals Of 2022, Rocking the Daisies is Mzansi’s biggest annual festival – bringing together thousands of music lovers from across the globe. This year the festival took place from 17 to 19 November 2023 at the picturesque Cloof Wine Estate in Darling whilst the Johannesburg leg of the festival took place at Supersport Park, Centurion on 19 November 2023.

The Rocking the Daisies festivals were postponed to November due to “devastating floods and unprecedented weather in the Western Cape over the last five days,” as announced by the festival in last September. September had been the organiser’s key site set-up period, and the rainfall had affected those preparations. The events were initially scheduled for October.

This year’s edition of #JWxRTD brought to you by Steyn Entertainment and Johnnie Walker surpassed all expectations, providing festival-goers with yet another unforgettable experience filled with electrifying performances and engaging activations from sponsors.

#JWxRTD featured a line-up which showcased a blend of genres, catering to a wide range of musical tastes and ensuring that there was something for everyone. The headliners for Rocking the Daisies 2023 included international Dreamville artist JID, Stormzy, Greentea Peng, the Denzel Curry, and Westside Boogie.

Rocking the Daisies 2023 also delivered on its promise of standout moments with the Platoon Golden Hour, an enchanting period where artists like Lloyiso and Sun El Musician took over their respective stages. . Another standout moment was when Dreamville artists such as BAS, JID and Denzel Curry came together to perform their chart-topping hits.

As Rocking the Daisies 2023 came to a close at Supersport Park on November 19, the echoes of the music and the memories created over the weekend lingered, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the next instalment of this iconic festival.
