In recent times, I have found myself listening to women in hip-hop more often. There is something refreshing about their outlook on life and how they go about expressing their bravado and grandeur. One such artist is King KY and her latest single titled “Bad M.F”
The single has a dark hue and features menacing basslines and adlibs to accompany her verse. The song is full of what I would consider to be swag raps akin to what an artist like A$AP Rocky would do with this sort of sound. I mean with lines like “riding through the city in a black whip, night stick. In my hound but my homies stay packing.
