Priddy Ugly drops ’1632’ from forthcoming EP MUD
From Priddy Ugly’s forthcoming EP, MUD, comes ‘1632’, a smooth boom bap thumper produced by KK and co-produced by BigLesForReal. In the song, which is named after the Tembisa postal code, Priddy Ugly raps colourfully about life in the hood, touching on sex work for survival, the high murder rate, and other ills.
Priddy Ugly tweeted that ‘1632’ is “the best raps you’ll be hearing going into the weekend, for sure” and we can’t argue. Priddy storytelling shines and his delivery and projection are crisp.
Pre-Order MUD & unlock ‘1632’ at midnight.

’1632’ ends with the clip of Tembisa legend Mzekezeke (aka, *cough*, DJ Sbu) and Ja Rule arguing about who’s hood is the hardest in 2003.
MUD is releasing on 2 September and is currently available for pre-order/pre-add.
‘1632’ is currently available on Apple Music.
