Yolophonik recently dropped off his 2-track EP called Interim like he said he would. Now for those interested, the word “Interim” actually means “the intervening time” and as we were navigating through this 2 piece offering it honestly felt like time had stood still in a way no lie… Okay, hear us out, this body of work is another showcase of Yolophonik’s otherworldly production capabilities that’s for sure and you can tell that he is tuned in to different frequencies because Interim is something else. This EP does more than enough to remind you why the name Yolophonik keeps on coming up in music conversations and why Universal had to get him on the team. The only critic is that it’s a short showcase but it’s replay value is quite high so you’ll for sure find yourselves spinning it a few times.
