Butan has recently shared part 2 of their ‘Other Side Of The Mountain’ lookbook that has them exploring the other side of Table Mountain where you’ll find locations such as Khayelitsha, Gugulethu, Grassy Park, Athlone or Bishop Lavis that are frequently hidden from the tourist picture perfect pages. This is where this new Butan lookbook was shot and narrated through following four friends on a weekend mission to link up and pretty much kick it.
These four are said to be custodians of their hoods who reside on the other side of the mountain. Shot in Bishop Lavis the lookbook showcases Butan’s cosy pieces such as the Spaza crewneck sweater donned by Alex who’s rolling with his pit bull Loki, on his way to pick up Doryan from the barber shop. Donning a standout piece, a satin Panther Mascot varsity jacket in grey and royal blue Doryan sets off with Alex to scoop up their friends from the flats in a classic Escort XR3 coupe.
