Yesterday was the day many Elaine fans were patiently waiting for because that was the day she dropped off her new single called ‘Right Now’ as promised. At first, many shared their disapproval of the song’s delay when it had not arrived at midnight as expected but better late than never right? This new song finds her still bringing in those heavy R&B vibes that she is well-known for and the single also debuted with some visuals directed by Nape Phasha.
The song mainly narrates a motivational storyline that starts off with Elaine receiving some message from a guy called Christian, whom she seems to have some relationship with even though things aren’t looking that great at the moment. The music video then follows her progressing with her life, moving on, as we quickly find her in her element (a studio setting) before she is visited by her friends. The camera then follows the squad having a good night out before we see other solo shots of Elaine on a boat in pure luxury as she continues getting texts from this Christian dude… It then all ends off with a nighttime drive scene with her driving a Shelby Cobra.
