To celebrate the new Coming 2 America — Sounds of Zamunda compilation, 6 artists representing Africa got a chance to deliver an NPR Music Tiny Desk home concert. Each performance from the pan-African project is said to bridge the distance between the countries and cultures as we find the likes of Nasty C opening the set with Tiny Desk alumni Ari Lennox on ‘Black and White’. We then go to Cameroon for some Afrobeats flavor with a performance from Locko before we get a performance from R&B newcomer Ricky Tyler. Other performances come from the likes of award-winning dance DJ and producer Prince Kaybee with Msaki, Toofan, and Alpha P.
