If you’re a gamer then you might have caught onto the massive Xbox news that leaked earlier this week. So Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox hardware, the Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S have been confirmed for a November 10 release. Xbox made the official announcement yesterday which also included info on pre-orders for the two systems that will be going live on September 22.
In terms of pricing, Xbox Series X will be sold for $499 (about R8 309,47), while the smaller, less powerful, and all-digital Xbox Series S will be sold for $299 (about R4 979,02). This is Xbox’s next-gen offering and fans seem to be happy about it… Xbox Series X’s biggest competition this holiday season is, of course, Sony’s PlayStation 5 that still does not yet have an announced release date or price.
