New Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Originals SUPEREARTH Superstar

So some official images of the highly anticipated Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Originals SUPEREARTH Superstar have finally surfaced online along with a confirmed release date.

And a quick reminder for those that don’t know who Sean Wotherspoon is, the homie became well-known as a sneaker designer through his partnership with Nike on the Air Max 1/97. He is also the co-founder of the famous vintage/thrift Round Two store and has also worked with ASICS. Now his new collaboration is with adidas Originals and it’s been teased for a while prior to this reveal.

This new SUPEREARTH is pretty much a vegan take on adidas Originals’ classic Superstar sneaker. It’s said to be entirely free of animal-derived products, and it was consciously made thanks to a waste-minimizing production method and the use of recycled rubber that forms the sole unit.

One of the most notable parts of the SUPEREARTH is its flower-covered body. Drawings and frayed embroidery that hangs down from the sneaker’s upper creates a field-like aesthetic. a “Sky Blue” color covers the eyestay panel, while the SUPEREARTH branding on the tongue and a trefoil logo on the heel complete the look.

These will be found on the adidas Originals’ website, stores, and at select retailers worldwide on August 29.

No price yet though…
