Tokyo outdoors-inspired streetwear label, White Mountaineering, has just returned with an exclusive new “Triple Black” colorway of its popular adidas LXCON collaboration. These first debuted in January and its an altered take on the adidas Originals lifestyle silhouette that uses buckles and straps to create a technical look. On these new ones, we find a simple black palette play up the shoe’s industrial nature and layered aesthetic. The laces are also replaced by three rollercoaster buckles that have been tied to the upper by lengthened black fabric straps. These straps hang off the side in appealing fashion for a conceptual take on a midfoot Three Stripe graphic, and can be tightened or loosened to adjust the fit.
