Last night Nasty C’s new ‘There They Go’ single was world premiered on Ebro’s Beats 1 show and if you were tuning in then you might have caught wind of what Ebro revealed about Nasty’s album. Ebro mentioned how legendary producer No I.D. executively produced Nasty C’s new album which all makes sense now if you can remember when Nasty shared a pic of himself in the studio with No I.D. & Big Sean last year. Does this mean that Big Sean on the album too? Well no because during his recent live interview with Mtv Base Nasty actually confirmed that the likes of T.I., Burna Boy, Rowlene & Tellaman are featured on the album. We only know of those for now though. Plus with his recent signage to Def Jam Recordings, who knows who else.

Nasty has used his voice to bring the world to Africa but it speaks volumes that he now intends to take Africa to the world. One of the ways he will be doing this is through his upcoming album, Zulu Man With Some Power. Zulu is one of the cultures that originates from South Africa.
Nasty C says: “The title of my album was inspired by me openly embracing being Zulu. I am not going to pressure myself to drop a song rapping only in Zulu or to dress in traditional Zulu clothes all the time. I want to make it cool to express your culture in your own way. It feels like a big statement to make. It feels like I’m recognizing the power and influence of my people.”
There was word that Nasty had to cut down to 16 tracks from 47 and remember this was initially supposed to just be an EP but it escalated. Zulu Man With Some Power is expected to drop in May.
