Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God and Nike have just announced their follow up to their collaborative Air Skylon II debut (which came in “White” and “Black”) which will now be released in a “Light Bone” colorway for the retro silhouette. Crafting the uppers with grey and beige suede and mesh, the subtle tonal palette brings some minimalist and polished aesthetics, with reflective material found on the Swooshes and the toebox. A modern twist comes with the laces too, opting for a toggle lacing mechanism over traditional laces, coupled with an elegant perforated leather tongue. Branding remains subtle, with a “Fear of God” logo by the heel in a hazy grey shade, adding just the right amount of touch without stealing the spotlight. The design is completed by a simple white sole, tying up the tonal and minimalist aesthetic. Dope or Trash?
