PUMA will drop two technology-inspired RS-X sneakers this May, the RS-X Tech and the RS-X Tech Motorola. The latter in partnership with tech giant Motorola. I’ve attached a press release and imagery for your consideration.
PUMA RS-X TECH SNEAKER
Enhancing the brand’s ongoing stories of reinvention, the PUMA RS-X Tech sneaker is decked with a sleek mesh and textile upper, with the original RS technology on the midsole. Featuring stylish leather overlays, an embossed textile heel piece, and moulded sockliner with specific RS PUMA branding, the sneakers debut in PUMA Black – Vapourous Gray – PUMA White colourway.
PUMA x MOTOROLA CAPSULE COLLECTION
Further to this, PUMA and telecom company Motorola partner up to drop RS-X Tech Motorola, inspired by Motorola’s mobile phone designs, highlights specific cues that celebrate the mobile phones of the 80s, 90s and 2000s.
With textures on the outer sole that are reminiscent of the mobile phone’s keypad, the sneakers are decked with “hellomoto” badging on the side and MOTO batwing subtly placed on heel badge. Dropping in a futuristic colourway of PUMA Silver – Sodalite Blue, the RS-X Tech Motorola capsule collection includes apparel pieces.
The RS-X Tech Motorola (R2499) drops at PUMA SELECT stores, X-Trend and Superbalist from 4 May 2019 while the RS-X Tech (R1999) drops from 15 May 2019.
