Last week Laylizzy dropped visuals for a fire freestyle called ‘Awake and without the fake’. Produced by his wingman, Ellputo, this recording was done shortly after he received news that he had won an award for one of his singles, ‘Txi’ at the 2018 Slikour on Life “Verse of the Year” Awards. So much is being said by the rap smith on the freestyle as he addresses some of his experiences of being a creative and celebrating over 10 years in the hip hop industry.
