Fans are still wishing for a Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole collaboration album to happen and it seems like it actually might happen or atleast there is hope. It appears that TDE’s MackWop, who is the label’s tour DJ, has decided to vow that the collab will happen. Some time ago, Wop uploaded a video titled “IM GONNA PUT OUT A NEW KENDRICK LAMAR & J-COLE RECORD IN 2019,” explaining that he’s the only one capable of “facilitating these verses.” At around the twelve-minute mark, Wop explains that he’s going to “be the n***a to put out the K.Dot J Cole records.” He continues, explaining that “everybody love MackWop.”
“If we being honest, I think I’m going to be the one to make it happen,” he explains. “They both my n***as, I’m going get it done. So look forward to that, 2019, we speaking it into existence.” – MackWop
A few days later, he uploaded a second video that provided an update on the situation; as of January 3rd, Wop had yet to speak with any of the parties involved, but remains hopeful that he can still make the process happen. J. Cole is still busy with his upcoming Revenge Of The Dreamers 3 album, so if that collab happens we will have to wait.
