Sneaker customizers The Flying Hawk Studio have tapped Simple Union to rework PUMA’s classic Suede with some paint details. Japanese gardens inspire the “Ukiyo-E Series II,” with the side stripes boasting woodblock print-inspired clouds and wooden bridges in rich colors. Each pair is unique, with art applied to each model by hand that results in tiny differences between the sneakers. To make the shoe slightly more low-key, the illustration-rich false tongue can be removed at the wearer’s bequest.
