So Coachella has just announced the headliners for 2019 which will include Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande and Tame Impala, but the fact that Burna Boy and Mr. Eazi are part of the line-up is what we’re celebrating. Set to take place on the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21, the full lineup of the festival is crazy and also includes the likes of Solange, Kid Cudi, Aphex Twin, Janelle Monáe, the 1975, Pusha-T, Blood Orange, Diplo, Weezer, Kacey Musgraves, Rosalía, SOPHIE, Mac DeMarco, Idris Elba, Jon Hopkins, Kaytranada, Anderson .Paak, Juice WRLD, Playboi Carti, Let’s Eat Grandma, Bad Bunny, Sheck Wes, Gesaffelstein, J Balvin, 070 Shake, and more. Its no secret that Burna Boy and Mr. Eazi have been causing major waves globally and this is just another indicator of how they’re sound is taking them to the top. Last year Black Coffee handled a performance there and this year some more African reps will be shaking it up.
Kanye West was rumored to join the headlining acts but has since cancelled due to stage issues.
