It’s been years since Chance The Rapper dropped his Coloring Book master piece and since then, he’s been touring more than creating new music. Fans have been waiting for new music from Chance for a minute now and it seems like the wait is almost over. In a new interview with Chicago-Tribune, Chance The Rapper revealed that his follow up to Coloring Book is actually dropping this week.
“The musical drought may be ending, though. “I got that feeling when people do something that has a new feel to it,” he says of his new album. “I’m excited for everybody to get that. It’s going to come out just in time for the Special Olympics.” – Chance The Rapper said
To add on to that reveal, the author of the article, Greg Kot, mentioned in the first paragraph that the rapper will be releasing the project this week.
“It’ll be a busy week for Chance the Rapper. He’s finishing up the follow-up album to his Grammy-winning 2016 release “Coloring Book,” which he says will be out in a few days. He’s preparing to begin work on another album with Kanye West this month in Chicago.” – Greg Kot wrote
So we have a new album reportedly dropping this week and a confirmed Chance The Rapper album produced by Kanye on the way too. Its going to be a good year… Wait it already been a good year for hip hop.
