Drake’s latest album Scorpion went platinum on the first day and now the album is the first to reach 1 billion streams across all platforms globally within a single week. Drake‘s album beat Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys global record, which was just under 700 million streams. These numbers have already put Scorpion on top of Billboard’s 200 albums chart. Hecelebrated his historic achievement with an Instagram post thanking his fans “a billion times over.”
