Africa’s premium Hip Hop festival, Maftown Heights, embarks on a new era and heads home to Mahikeng for the first time, the birth place of the Motswako genre on which Maftown Heights is founded and celebrates. This once off historical edition will take place on Friday, 8 December 2017, at the Mmabatho Stadium in Mahikeng in collaboration with Mahika Mahikeng. Mahika Mahikeng Cultural Music Festival is the flagship arts and culture event for the Province of Bokone Bophirima and will be hosted for the third time this year from 5 – 10 December 2017 in Mafikeng, the capital of the province. This special programme is spearheaded by the Premier of Bokone Bophirima Supra O.R. Mahumapelo.
Doors to the 8th annual Maftown Heights festival will open at 4pm – 2am and tickets are available from Computicket at the below prices:
