Bryson Tiller has just joined team Nike and has been gracefully welcomed thanks to a special session at NikeLab 21 Mercer’s Bespoke iD Studio. This new relationship comes after Tiller had been seen in the Nike SF-AF1 quite a few times. Its been revealed that Tiller’s choice of the Air Force 1 hails from his upbringing, which dates back to his high school days.
“I wore a uniform to school, so the white-on-white or black-on-black Air Force 1 Low was the simple sneaker to wear, but it was the standard. You were cool if you had on a pair of Air Force 1s and it’s still a staple for me while on tour.” – Bryson Tiller
During the recent creative session, Tiller managed to craft a special pair inspired by his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Its upper hosted University Red colouring while gracing some premium full-grain leather, giving off that look and feel of boxing gloves.
