Maftown Heights is going up this year in a big way, like it does every year. And in addition to a smashing line-up that includes recurring vets HHP, Khuli Chana, Mo Molemi, L-tido, K.O, Anatii, AKA, Aewon Wolf, Khuli Chana and more, there are newbies who have been recruited on the roster.
Last week, the festival organisers called on upcoming hip hop talent to rally votes through a unique hashtag, in order to give the public the power to choose an artist who deserves to be on the big-time stage. And by popular demand the fans responded with Priddy Ugly, K-2 and Jay Makopo. All three emcees will appear on YFM today between 12-3pm to chat with DJ Sabby about what the crowd can expect from their respective performance.
Maftown Heights has been at the helm of helping to develop talent for the past five years, giving opportunities to many an upcoming rapper including Cassper Nyovest, Ginger Trill, Gigi LaMayne, Notshi and more.
