It’s that time of the year again when promoters start campaigning for their new year’s eve parties and experiences. Ultimately, we all know that every year the entire event culminates in an underwhelming count down that is usually after actual mid-night, and the celebrations that follow which are used as a guise to get away with all sorts of things – kisses, groping, drunken honesty, etc. But if you’re going to do it somewhere, best you do it somewhere where the music is dope, at least. Enter Fresh Year’s Eve.
This year it’s going down in Durban and will be handled by the Cashtime Life squad. Apart from all the likely pleasantries that come with New Year’s (puke, scuffed sneakers, unwanted confessions, new year’s resolution declarations, etc) you can expect performances from AKA, K.O, Kid X, Maggz, Ma-E and Blackmotion, Nasty C, WTF, Moozlie, Sketchy Bongo, Kid X, Yanga among others.
It’s going down at King’s Park and tickets are already available at R180 (early Bird) and R200 (pre-sold), for purchase via computicket.
