Sprite Uncontainable is in its third successful year, scouring the country to unearth the best hip hop talent in the areas of dance, graffiti and emceeing.
Curated by judges Reason, Mernoly Simba and Mars, this year’s event will culminate with the grande finale at Zone 6 Soweto, on 29 August 2015.
We already know that the emcee battles are always fire; we already know that dance battles are always fire; and we know from past experience (Talib Kweli, Pharaoh Monch) that the international guests are fire. And to keep the consistency alive, Sprite have announced the presence of legendary New York group, Mobb Deep.
Yup, the infamous duo will join K.O, Reason, Vigi, Capital, Revivolution, Radix and a host of others on the Soweto stage to puncuate an evening of raw hip hop festivities. So if this is your vibe make sure not to sleep on it.
