With LEVELS less than 2000 copies to go before it hits gold, the album’s most prominent singles ‘All Eyes On Me’ ft. Burna Boy, JR and DA L.E.S and ‘Congratulate’ have hit gold. Kiernan took to Twitter this past weekend to announce the news.
These tracks were arguably the biggest songs of 2014 and received recognition even outside of Africa. ‘All Eyes On Me’ was being picked up by UK radio station BBC 1 Xtra and not to mention ‘All Eyes On Me’ being the no.1 song on iTunes for 9 weeks on South African hip hop iTunes and winning Best Collaboration at the MetroFM Awards.
According to DJ Edu (Host of 1Xtra’s Destination Africa show) AKA is one of the top 5 artists of 2015 to break into the UK after extensive airplay on his show.
