Jay-Z Launches Online Platform With Biggest Names In Music 16th March 2015 news Jay Z has come a long way from being a that awkward lanky dude on the ‘Can’t Knock the Hustle’ video. Marrying Beyonce, buying sports teams, being arguably the greatest rap artist who ever lived; the list is literally endless. And now he can add yet another title to his name: software developer. During the Grammy week and NBA All Star games, Jigga privately sat down with some of the biggest names in the industry (Kanye, Rihanna, Beyonce, Nicki and others) to get them on board for his new project. Turns out, Jigga is planning to re-launch music streaming service ‘Aspiro’ which is a music technology company on the forefront of the redefining music consumption. They plan to do this by offering high quality music through whatever platform you choose to hear it. It works in the form of a subscription based streaming service. After Hova bid $54mil for it, he is looking to make it one of the biggest online music platforms in the world. It’s being said that he believes the site will be bigger than some of the most prominent well known sites out there like Spotify and Pandora. The site will also be used as a platform for Jay-Z and his partners to distribute their own work. Even for a man who claims he can sell water to a well, this is unexplored territory for Jigga. Do you think he can pull it off?
