* ‘Muthaland’ was the leading single from Jozi’s first album Muthaland Crunk.
* It was released in 2007.
* The video featured various members of the South African dance group The Repetoires.
* The song was initially met with resistance in the hip hop circles because of its unconventional blend at the time but later became a huge success.
* Jozi is where Da L.e.s got his start before missioning out as a solo artist.
* Crazy Lu is a former member of the crew and had left the group shortly after the release of their debut album.
* Bongz went on to leave the group 2 years later due to differences with label Ghetti Ruff.
* Jozi have released two other albums, namely; Wild Life and Moving the City.
* Today the group simply consists of Da L.e.s and Ishmael.
