Free Lil Wayne and his creativity!

Say it aint so! To the world, Lil Wayne and Birdman were family: they have been as thick as thieves from day one, had the perfect working relationship, and so a fallout was the last thing anyone expected. So imagine the collective shock on social media last night when Wayne took to Twitter to vent his frustration and dissatisfaction with Cash Money and even called out his CEO!

In a startling series of tweets, the rapper simply echoed Tyga’s sentiments, revealing that his record label is holding him hostage and delaying the release off his upcoming album, Tha Carter V. “I am a prisoner and so is my creativity   Again,I am truly sorry and I don’t blame ya if ya fed up with waiting 4 me & this album. But thk u,” he tweeted. Which explains why Tha Carter V has been pushed back more times than we can remember.

At first we thought Lil Wayne’s Twitter account was hacked because in his lengthy career he has hardly publicly said anything about Birdman, the guy he often calls “daddy.”

Tyga, who is probably sitting somewhere right with an evil grin on his face, saying, “I told y’all”, was quick to praise Wayne for calling out the record label. And not forgetting Pusha T, who invited Wayne to join G.O.O.D Music.
