Popular street wear clothing label Butan Wear have just dropped their summer 14/15 gear and the descriptions are as follows:
“Tribal“ sweat shorts, vest and spoti: all over print of a pattern which came about as the fusion between traditional basket art and various tribal patterns typical to African art.
“Protea77” sweat shorts and snapbacks: all over flower print pattern inspired by the definitive stamp series of 1977, composed of a multitude of Protea plants growing across South Africa.
“Homecoming V2.0” vests: all over pattern print inspired by Ndebele wall art. Proudly designed and made in South Africa.
“Swazi Gold” vest and spoti: All over print of cannabis leaves on 100% pure cotton.
“Basket Case” snapback: The pattern on the under-visor of this piece is inspired by the many intricate patterns found on African baskets across the continent. The front embroidery boldly features our “Undefeated” logo, taking the form of a deconstructed African warrior shield.
Along with images of the “Home Run” button-up baseball shirt and “Victory81” football jersey.
