DJ Mustard was the man of the moment at this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards, which were hosted by Snoop Dogg in Atlanta. Airing on Friday 17 October on BET International (DStv Access, Family, Compact, Extra & Premium channel 135 , Star Sat channel 167).
I’m definitely tuning in to check out the performance by Brandy, MC Lyte, Yo-Yo and Queen Latifah who celebrated the 20th anniversary of their “I Wanna Be Down” collaboration. Another highlight has to be Doug E.Fresh being presented the “I Am Hip Hop” Award, while freestylers will definitely be on the look out for the annual ciphers which featured the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Remy Ma, Papoose, Ty Dolla $ign, David Banner and more.
